Welcome!

Welcome! I am so very excited to share with you a piece of my life.

I grew up in small town Iowa when the streetlights came on and you knew it was time to go home, mom's yelled kids names from the back porch, and you rode your bike to school, to Grandma’s house, and to the pool in the summer. Playtime didn’t include tablets or computers and the TV had 6 channels. Creativity and imagination was the norm.

Thursdays were special; as that was the day we had coffee time at Grandma’s. My grandma, my mom, and my aunt would gather around the kitchen table with coffee and home baked goods to talk and laugh. Cookies were baked, recipes passed down, and love was shared around that little table.

I am who I am because of these three amazing women. I look at my hobbies, passions, and joys and see pieces of each of them: My grandma’s baking and sewing, my mom’s cooking and love of antiques, my aunt’s needlework, and the faith and love of all three.

Follow me as I take these skills, lessons learned, and inspiration to make our first house a home.
