Baby B's Blanket Finished
After lots of joining of granny squares, and many rounds of borders, I am happy to say...I AM FINISHED!!!!!
The pattern was purchased on Craftsy, and was the Modern Patchwork Blanket by BabyLove Crochet Patterns. I love the different pattern and textures of this blanket, and you can make it your own with different color variations, different square counts, the options are endless! My end result was a little different, as we eliminated the chevron square, and instead included a square of double crochet clusters. Here's a closeup of one of the cluster squares:
My favorite part of all? The border! It came together so quickly, and I love...I repeat LOVE the final row...reverse single crochet. I had never seen that before, and let me tell you, it was frustrating to do at first, but just look at it! It was sooooooo worth it!!!!!
Now to wait for my new niece to come into this world and welcome her with this blanket!
